I’ve become involved in a project that could do with your vote. A friend and colleague of mine, Amanda Hill of Dreams To Go, has thought up a new idea for a new business, and entered the Barclays Bank ‘Take One Small Step’ competition.

I’m fairly certain you can’t have escaped the news that Apple and Adobe are having a fairly big spat, over Apple’s refusal to incorporate Adobe’s Flash technology within their mobile devices, most notably the iPhone and new iPad, plus the iPod Touch. Currently, if you come across a Flash video on the iPhone or iPad, you’ll just get a little ‘can’t display this video’ icon where the video should be.

One of my recent jobs was for a local PR and Marketing agency, to voice the narration for a documentary they were producing for schools distribution as an educational tool, to raise awareness in young people of Shaken Baby Syndrome.
The end result is a quite hard-hitting, very well made piece highlighting the dangers of SBS, and how even innocent play time with your child could easily cross over into being very damaging for their body, because babies are very fragile. I think it should be very effective in it’s delivery …
