iPhone 4: How will it change your user experience?

It’s 6 days to go until the iPhone 4 will be in my hands. I’ve been thinking today about how it will change my existing user experience, new features that I will start to use, how it will change or enhance the functions I already enjoy using the iPhone for. Just how different is it likely to be?

iPhone 4 and the Anonymous Pricing

**PRICING UPDATE** – o2 have now finally released all their pricing for the new unit, as of today at 14:15.
As any Apple follower will know by now, we have the imminent release (June 24th) of the much-anticipated iPhone 4, the fourth generation iPhone (not 4G as many people have been stating, as it still runs on 3G technology, carriers can’t currently handle 4G).

Technology Makes Knowledge Gathering Easier

I do at times stop and think about how far technology has come on in the last 10 years or so. Now we’re in 2010, being able to receive up to the minute news and information via mobile handsets seems perfectly normal, but certainly wasn’t the case with me using one of my old Nokia’s from 2000!

o2 Causes Controversy With iPhone Fans

Well, after a series of good announcements from Apple at this year’s WWDC event in San Francisco, it seems Apple/o2 have stirred up massive controversy. With purportedly huge upgrade fees for iPhone 3G users to upgrade to the new iPhone ’3G S’, it doesn’t look like there’ll be many people queuing this time round!
On first reports, handset cost (on my tariff) works out to about £170. I don’t mind that due to the massive 32GB storage plus the new hardware features, but with the requirement to pay upwards of £250 …
