Audio Marketing, Branding, and YOU

This is a recent talk I gave at a 4Networking meeting in Birmingham Longbridge about personal and business branding by incorporating audio into the mix.
In this modern age, it’s becoming more and more important for businesses to be accessible to lots of different types of people, and the ways they absorb information. Become a market leader by having an ethos of accessible-to-all, utilising good copywriting, graphics, imagery, video and audio.

Why You’re Not Listening To Your Customers Effectively

Ok, bold statement time. You may not be listening properly to your customers. So many of us are guilty for it though, so you’re not alone!
It’s true though, sometimes we get so caught up in ‘what we offer’, it’s not always in synch with ‘what people want’. Currently, in the UK we’re having a good week, and it’s set to last for several days. Current temperature as I write this is 24 degrees Celsius, with highs predicted to top 30 this week!
The problem, as far as I can see it, is that living in the UK compared to other countries not too far away, we get such little really good weather that it’s …

The Best Kind of Client To Have

This last week has been a funny old week, really. Few jobs on the go, doing some ads for a radio station down south. And I have a new client (or about to, rather) who gave me a rather nice surprise on Friday!
I’m due to record a voiceover for a video they’re producing. It’s fairly low budget, but I agreed anyway as the project sounded interesting. I suppose that’s the nice thing about what I do, I could easily have said no, but what’s the point? It’s money (which is …
